BISKET JATRA

Bhaktapur is also known as Bhadgaon. It is the third largest city in Kathmandu valley. Almost people of Bhaktapur is newari.So that Bisket is big festival of the newari people. It is a New year`s festival. Bisket jatra stars from10 april up tp 17 april. On this occasion there is the chariot festival in Bhaktapur. It start from the center of the city Taumadhi square.In this festival many people gather in one palce and they all are pulling rope which is attached in big tree which is very long and strong one.By the way the main thing is to make the tree stand.They will do it after the hours of hard work.Some times it will not be so easy as i said coz it brokes,it will just fall down when the balance is not equal at all the side of that tree.Then in nepali calander from baikash 1st they started to go in relatives home and have good food,good time and fun for forget the whole hard works they have done in that year.
